The purpose of Place4U is to act as a Host Organisation for various community, social and charitable groups. Our aim is to provide spaces for different activities some long-term, some medium-term and some short-term. In addition, we hope to offer support to start-up businesses and to help organisations that may not be in a position to pay for facilities in other locations. We do this by having a number of long-term licensees as well as a small percentage of business organisations whose presence helps off-set costs incurred when helping less well-established groups. In addition to hosting over 25 organisations, Place4U also runs various activities. Most of these activities take place in the café section of the building.
